Kim Jong Un Cries for His Dog – Photos of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un were leaked today that appear to show the young leader falling apart emotionally. Although it can’t be confirmed, sources say that Un, (aka “the great successor to the revolutionary cause”) was distraught after learning that new U.N. sanctions would threaten imports of the high end dog food brand that he feeds to his Chihuahua.
In response to the dog food sanctions, Un threatened to turn Washington D.C. into a sea of fire, or possibly even release a sex tape if that didn’t get enough attention.

Russell Terriers Form Sleeping Conga Line – (Feelin’ hot, hot hot!) Wow… If this photo doesn’t make you stop eating dog meat on your business trips to Asia, I don’t know what will. (look at those little puppy feet!) These Jack Russell Terrier puppies and their mom are so cute that I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.
These sickeningly cute Jack Russell Terrier puppies with their mom, Roxy, were photographed by jack_mama, and there is more where that came from!

Husky Photobomb at Dog Park – “Photobombing” is defined as, “dropping into a photo unexpectedly just before it’s taken,” and although there have been a lot of funny photo bombs to hit the web lately, his is about the funniest dog photobomb i’ve seen.
Wow, that Husky looks really excited to jump into the photo. Feel free to add a caption as a comment below!

Brussels Griffon Devil Dog – What an awesome photo of “Noodle Brains,” looking like a surly little devil for Halloween. (He looks like he’s about to say, “Eh… what do you want from me?)
The Brussels Griffon, or “Griffon Bruxellois” hails from Brussels, Belgium (home of Jean Claude Van Damme!) and is known for being a both a lover & a fighter; often getting into trouble by trying to dominate larger dogs.
I guess I’m not the first person to say that the Brussels Griffon looks like an ewok, (Star Wars) but the resemblance is uncanny. Oh well, maybe next Halloween!

Army Dog Honored With Dickin Medal: British soldiers recently gathered to honor their fallen comrade, Theo, a Springer Spaniel who searched for roadside bombs in Helmand province, a Taliban stronghold in Afghanistan. Theo died of a fatal seizure hours after his owner, Cpl. Liam Tasker, was killed during a firefight, but Cpl. Tasker’s mother insists the dog died of a broken heart.
Shortly after his death, Theo was awarded the prestigious PDSA Dickin Medal, which is Britain’s highest award for bravery by an animal.
The Dickin Medal itself was established in 1943 by Maria Dickin to honor animals that served valiantly with the British army, “acknowledges outstanding acts of bravery displayed by animals serving with the Armed Forces or Civil Defence units in any theatre of war, worldwide.” Theo is the 28th dog to receive the award out of a total of 64 medals.
Interestingly, pigeons are the only animal that have won the Dickin Medal more times than dogs, with 32 winning for their efforts during WWII. (It sounds crazy, but consider that pigeons are consistently ranked with dogs in lists of the world’s smartest animals.)
